The board looks really good and feels solid, but it’s heavier than I expected. Moving it around and washing it can be a little annoying. It’s still usable, just not about as practical as I hoped for everyday use.

I cut up onions and there was no weird lingering smell afterward, which was kind of a nice surprise. Low-key really happy about that

It’s a nice-looking board and it feels solid overall. I do like it for regular chopping, but the juice groove is a little too shallow for anything messy. When I’m cutting tomatoes or letting meat rest, it fills up quickly and spills over. For the price, I was hoping the design would be a bit more practical. Good board, just not my favorite for juicier prep.

My first board showed up with a small crack, so I had to reach out to teakhaus for a return. They got back to me quickly and made the whole replacement process really easy, which I appreciated. The new board looks great and feels super solid! I’m giving 4 stars just because the replacement took a little longer than I expected, but overall I’m happy with how everything was handled.

I love my board from teakhaus. i’m so tired of cutting boards that stain, smell weird, or feel like a whole chore to clean. This one has been super easy — I just rinse it, wipe it down, and that’s pretty much it. No weird odors or stains so far, which is a relief. Cleanup after cooking is already annoying enough, so I’m glad this actually makes it easier.

My cutting board just kept soaking up oil like crazy and still looked dry afterward. I was expecting it to perform better, honestly. I am annoyed after spending that much on it

The board showed up okay and works fine, so no real complaints there. The box, though, looked beat up, and there wasn’t much padding inside, which surprised me a bit for the price. Nothing was damaged, thankfully. But honestly? For a second I thought I was opening a disaster waiting to happen.

The boards themselves are really nice quality, and ordering on the site was straightforward. That part I don’t have any complaints about. But the prices feel a bit high compared to a few other places I looked at. I know teak isn’t exactly cheap, but cheaper shipping or an actual deal here and there would make a big difference. Also, I’m not a fan of those canned “sorry for the inconvenience” type replies when people bring up pricing concerns. It just feels like a copy-paste response. Overall, good product, but I’m not totally convinced the cost feels fair for everyone

I’ve been keeping this beside the sink, and so far it’s doing a solid job. It hasn’t really warped or picked up stains, which is nice because that area gets wet often. I still make a point to wipe it down after use, but it’s been one of those small things that makes the space feel a little more cared for and easier to maintain...

The board itself looks really nice, and compared to some others I’ve seen, it definitely has a more polished look. But the delivery experience was frustrating. The box showed up crushed, and one corner of the board had a noticeable dent, which isn’t what I’d expect at this price. Customer service was okay and handled it decently, but it still ended up being more of a hassle than it should’ve been.

I remember the end grain feeling really solid when I handled it. It had a sturdy, well-made feel to it, and nothing about it seemed flimsy or weak.

I’ve been using it with food and it seems totally fine so far. Nothing flashy to say, but it feels safe and does what I need it to do.

I’ve been using it for a bit and the first thing I noticed is that it really does look good. The only downside from my experience is that it seems to need oiling more often than I expected. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you don’t want extra upkeep.

I ordered a teak cutting board from teakhaus.com, and I’ll give it credit, it does feel sturdy and well made. Shipping was totally fine, and when I first opened it, I thought it looked nice. That said, I’m not completely sold on the appearance. One side has a warm, even color that I really like, but the other side has a few much lighter strips that stand out more than I expected. I get that wood is natural and every board is going to be a little different, but based on the photos, I guess I was expecting something a bit more consistent. It’s definitely usable and still a good board, just not exactly what I had pictured.

I’ve been using my Teakhaus cutting board for a few months now, it’s been holding up well. I was a little nervous about it warping because my last board went sideways fast, but this one has stayed nice and flat as long as I dry it properly and don’t leave it sitting wet. I did knock off one star because you do have to oil it regularly, which is kind of a chore, but overall I’m happy with it

The craftsmanship feels great, and you can tell it’s made well. I just wish the edges were a bit smoother because I don’t have much patience for little rough spots like that. Still a solid piece overall.

I do like this board overall—it looks good and does what I need it to do. I guess I was just expecting it to feel a bit thicker or more solid for the price. Not that it doesn’t work, because it does, and I’ve been using it just fine. It’s more one of those things where you pick it up and think, “Hmm, I thought this would have a little more weight to it.” Still a nice board, just maybe not as sturdy-feeling as I had pictured.

It looks really nice on the counter, but, um, it does tend to shift around a bit while I’m chopping. Kind of annoying when you’re trying to cut quickly...

It felt rough as soon as I took it out of the box. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to deal with this kind of issue again, but here we are. Disappointing.
